The Francis Ford Coppola Winery is heaven on earth. Spectacular views, great staff, amazing ambiance. I enjoyed The Linda Ferro Band during the barrel-tasting weekend playing at the outdoor Pavilion. What an awesome experience!

We picked the Coppola winery to take our first tour on our first visit to Sonoma. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The vineyard is beautiful, the wine delicious and the tour very informative. What an awesome experience.

...this wine tastes like home.

Your 2009 Ivory Label Cabernet Sauvignon was the bright spot of my day today. I'm currently living in Pennsylvania, but I'm originally from California and this wine tastes like home. After a couple of rough weeks and another to look forward to, taking a break from it all with your wine, my favorite chair and a good book is the best vacation a girl could ask for. I thought I should thank you for your craftsmanship and let you know that I look forward to enjoying it again when I get the chance.

Last weekend, a gorgeous spring day in Sonoma County, I had an experience I will always remember as one of my top 10. My friends and I went to celebrate a birthday, taste some wine and listen to live music by the pool while waiting for our reservation at the Rustic restaurant. It was that rare ocassion when one experiences much more than expected... Upon entry I was struck with awe at the quality of the recent renovations. From there, the live music, great wine, authentic Italian pizza and to-die-for olives served poolside were enough to make us more than very happy, but the surprises we encountered from that point on just kept going.

My absolute favorite event was realizing it was Mr. Coppola himself sitting at the poolside bar in a very casual manner. I overheard him telling a bartender, while holding up a jar of crushed red pepper pointing out the label, "This is my mother when she was 17." Dead giveaway it was him. He was so kind as to pose for a photo with myself and my friends, asking why we weren't in the pool. He then spent most of the rest of the afternoon in the pool while most guests lounged about not realizing it was him.

As so many people have already written, the food and service are excellent. The view from the pool and our table was more than one could ask for and the finale of our day was finding many movie props displayed inside and among them a beautifully restored classic automobile. All designed with an aesthetic beauty of a quality rarely seen. Thanks again Mr. Coppola for bringing inspiration and your fantastic adventure of the senses to Sonoma County.

Thirty-Three Visits and Counting...

My wife & I have been at your place over 33 times. We always make it a point to bring family & friends that come & visit us to your winery. Not one of them have ever said they did not like it. They all have said they love it. The people you have working for you make you a very blessed man!

A tavola - I can't recall a time where I had more fun dining

I had made a reservation for my wife and I as it was her birthday. To be honest the whole experience could not have been more perfect. The food was incredible, each dish served became better and better, the wine was delicious. The Staff were the finest. I can't recall a time where I had more fun dining and was so well served by people who were into the experience more than us. I could go on and on - it was OFF THE HOOK! I left realizing this was the best dining experience I have ever had! Cant wait to return! Tuesday nights, baby - Yeah!

Stay as long as you like

After two visits to Rustic, under extremely different conditions, suffice it to say that each aspect of the dining experiences was excellent. Serving lunch to a wine tour of 20 ladies, where everyone is delighted with their dish, their wine, and the service is no small feat. The Rustic staff managed this event with aplomb, making this event one that the ladies have talked about in glowing terms since October. My friend and I enjoyed an equally fabulous lunch on Sunday when terrace dining was made even more pleasant by Kristen and Travis, exceptional wait staff members. We watched two young families enjoy their lunch and wine, continuing to linger for the afternoon while the children played on the terrace or scampered throught the adjacent vineyard. Kristen invited us to take our coffee to the comfy sofa and "stay as long as you like." From the beautiful architecture in a bucolic setting to the last crumb of the lemon fruit tart, the Coppolas have given their site such attention to detail that visitors wish the day would never end. Bravo!!

...it was by far the best Pinot Noir I have every tasted.

I was given my first bottle of Coppola wine just recently. Sante, Pinot Noir, 2008, it was by far the best Pinot Noir I have every tasted. Melted in mouth, and was even better with Chcoloate Truffles, yes you read it right! I have heard for a long time that the wines from the Coppola Winery were excellent, but now I know! Just signed for the Amici wine club and I am excited!

We go to Coppola about once a week and have a wonderful experience every time! The staff is so friendly, the food is excellent and the view and building are gorgeous. We are so glad Francis came to Geyserville!

Oscar gold in the Wine Country!

Our first visit to Coppola Winery has us hooked for life! I’ve not stopped talking about, almost to the point of cornering perfect strangers, to tell them about our experience. What an amazing venue, to the measure of destination! Not just an outstanding winery, but incredible setting, wonderful grounds, over the top restaurant, and the staff to visitor ratio, not to be compared. Jill and Joe, our wine bar sommeliers, and Jill again who led our tour, must be complimented and thanked for their warmth and knowledge. Jill made you feel as though you’ve just come back home. Of course we joined the Wine Family.

Spontaneously at dinner, our server welcomed us home. Cannot wait until the warm weather. Already planning all day family outings – swimming, bocce, concerts, great food, incredible wine, cocktails, tours and new friends. Mr. Coppola has touched magic once again. His Hollywood experience shines through but not overshadows his love for great wine and good food. As soon as we stepped through the doors, visually we knew this place had been created of great thought, planning and love. As we experienced the winery and beyond, we knew this was a place we would be coming back to many times over. Oscar gold in the Wine Country!

What can we say? We had so much fun.

What can we say? We had so much fun during our visit that we were checking our calendars before leaving the winery to schedule our next visit. Staff are incredible. In spite of crowds of people everywhere - the tasting room, the bar, the restaurant - everyone was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to provide the best possible experience for all. Rustic was wonderful. We were addicted to Aunt Christine's Pettole at first bite. Dishes are creative, portions are generous and prices, including the wine list, are very reasonable - a rarity in wine country. Great job, everyone! Can't wait for our next visit!

I have had the pleasure of dining at Rustic twice now, and I must say it is FABULOUS! The food, exquisite, the service phenomenal, the setting gorgeous! I can't wait to come back!

Bravo Francis & Crew!

WOW - What an experience! While there is still some outdoor construction going on, the place was looking & feeling fabulous. The pool area looks to be a show stopper when finished, with 20 or so "Cabinitas" for guest privacy as well as a pool cafe to enhance the outdoor experience. We asked and were able to sit out on the patio overlooking the beautiful Alexander Valley. The overhead heaters kept us comfortable even as the breeze blew over the vineyards later into the evening.

As far as our dinner, from the Pettole to the Espresso our experience was EXCELLENT! All 3 of us had the Veal Chop which came recommended by our waiter Kareem. They all 3 came out beautifully presented over seasoned & grilled red & yellow peppers, anise, eggplant, & topped with a grilled green onion. Twelve perfectly grilled ounces of bone-in Veal rubbed with olive oil & just the right amount of salt & pepper served with the chef's Romanesco sauce was incredible. We also had a side of the White Beans that were very good. Both Claud & Stacey made sure to come by and made certain that our high expectations were being met, all the while answering our many questions. Add 2 glasses of Pinot Grigio, a Pelligrino Lemonata, and finishing with 3 Espresso's the bill was under $75. Will I go back, oh yeah, probably for lunch today if I can make it! Bravo Francis & crew!

The service, food, wine and atmosphere are "over the top."

The staff at Rustic made us feel like they were truly glad to have us for dinner! Since we didn't have reservations and they were fully booked, we enjoyed appetizers and cocktails at the bar. We were pleasantly surprised when the host, who addressed us by name, greeted us and showed us to a lovely table with a spectacular view of Alexander Valley. The service, food, wine and atmosphere are "over the top." We can't wait to invite friends to join us next time!

We felt at home the moment we sat down in the dining room. All of the service staff were attentive, informative, friendly and actually smiling. We ordered a variety off the menu and were excited about each one. Great to have such a unique destination right down the road from us. This will become a locals favorite for sure. Thank you so much. Highlight of our Trip to Northern California

Just wanted to thank all of you at the winery for organizing Festival Vendemmia and inviting us to attend. Winning wines at the games, tasting great Italian foods and the different FFC wines, dancing to the live band and of course meeting Mr. & Mrs. Coppola were the highlights of our trip to Northern California... We will definintely make the trip again next year!
