In the tradition of classic Bordeaux wines, this year’s Director’s Cut Cabernet is blended with some Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The Merlot hails from a mountain vineyard, and adds weight and depth to the blend. The Cabernet Franc, from an alluvial site, adds spice to the aroma.

Classically structured with ripe, supple tannins and an elegant balance of fruit, our 2010 Director’s Cut Cabernet Sauvignon delivers a bouquet of blackberries and sweet cigar box along with rich flavors of cherries, currants, and cassis embellished with a hint of anise and vanilla. While dazzling on the palate now, this wine has the structure and dimension to gain complexity in the years to come.
