• Soft and supple on the palate, yet brimming with flavors of ripe red berries and fragrant spices.
  • An intricate blend of Pinot Noir grapes highlighting different regions and microclimates of Northern California.

This vintage of Director’s Pinot Noir blends grapes from Carneros, which produces fruit with spice and earth notes, with grapes from the Russian River Valley, an area known for creating rich, dense wines noted for bright cherry and cranberry flavors. As a result of combining fruit from two appellations, we designate this wine “Sonoma Coast.” Both of these regions experience a cool climate and fog that rolls in from the coast, conditions that favor Pinot Noir.

Our 2010 Director’s Pinot Noir boasts an intense perfume of fresh strawberries, orange peel and tea leaves, while the silky texture accentuates sweet, luscious flavors of raspberries, cherries, cloves and spicy oak.
