• A silky-textured, fruit-forward Pinot Noir with hints of vanilla, cola and cinnamon spice from oak aging.
  • Our Pinot Noir fruit comes from sustainably farmed 15-year old vines from Sonoma County.

We had the good fortune this vintage of sourcing fruit from the esteemed Dutton Ranch. In addition to its prime Russian River location, these vineyards are under the care of the Dutton family, who have been farming these vineyards for five generations. The soil is comprised of sandy loam and some clay, which accentuates the fruit’s intense aromatics. The cool, foggy mornings and warm days allow the grapes to ripen slowly and retain the ideal level of natural acidity for a perfectly-balanced wine. The 2009 Francis Coppola Reserve Pinot Noir is a luscious wine that demonstrates a bright acidity and ripe flavors of cherry and strawberry.
