Located on the western bench lands of northern Dry Creek Valley, Mounts Vineyard experiences cool, foggy mornings and rather hot days. Because there is a substantial difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures, the growing season lasts longer, so the grapes mature more slowly.
A star from the day we harvested it, this wine was plush and fleshy from the get-go. With a beautiful mouth-filling texture, this wine offers extraordinary length, rich, jammy flavors of berries and plums, and intriguing notes of spice, mocha and toast from the barrels.
